There is never a good time or a good way to lose somebody you love. The gaps in our lives where those we once loved (and eternally will) can never be filled, sadly. Gather those you love close, celebrate your mother's life and take the time you need.

Bless you. Sorry to hear about your mother. My father recently passed so I have an idea of the pain it brings. Her memories will keep you happy as time passes. I remember the good and fun times.

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to you as you face the loss of your mother ... the one person in life that we are never prepared to lose. But the thought of your mother's spirit being freed from the chains of her illness hopefully gives you some comfort. Peace and hugs. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I've lost -Dad-Mom-both sets of grand parents- 4 uncles-an aunt- now have a family reunion with my 4 brothers- I'll drive the 19oo miles to be with them- all you can is grab life by the balls and live it-

Oh my dear friend I had no idea, and my sincerest condolences and HUGS  . It's so hard when we loose our parents, and I have to commend your mother on raising a wonderful son. As I know she is still with you and will always be there protecting you. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers..Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Very sorry for your loss. Not something you ever "get over" but it will eventually not hurt as much. Remember the good times you shared with her and she will always be with you. Hugs... Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

I'm so sorry for your loss Azriel. I was my Mother's carer before her Alzheimer's got so bad she had to go into a nursing home. She passed just over two years now.

I have lost most of my loved ones. I know what you mean when you say hug your loved ones. You just never know when they will be gone and you cannot hug them any more. Carry on and it slowly gets easier.

It hurts, I know. Losing Family & Friends seem to be happening a lot lately as I get older. You hang in there. I have been there. I know what you are going though. Take your time and do what you need to do for yourself. I wish you peace!!
