I could not decide between simply yes or no. I don't think it is a question of a double standard, but more of a question about preference. If you were to ask any random hetero male if he wanted to see a photo of a vagina, I would bet that about 80 to 90% of men would say yes. I am also willing to wager that if random hetero women were asked if they would like to see a pic of a penis that less than 50% would say yes. I'm not citing any facts here at all, just my own humble assumptions. Stay safe out there!

I think more should be made of those who comein here and dont post a pic at all. There should be a short period at entry and if no pic posted in that time then they are out. Nothing worse than looking at a grey silohette !!!

Double standard - no doubt. Part of the reason may be the differences between men and women. Men are more "visual" and many women know that and use it to attract men. Women seem to be visual, but to a lesser extent. So it seems that not ALL women want to see dick pics, at least initially. From what I can tell many men don't get that. Personally, I "play it safe", no dick pic unless asked. It has worked fairly well for me as most of the women I've met were not fond of the "sausage fest". When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I am off the opinion that what someone is showing you as their profile picture is what they are in fact subconsciously offering/ slash wanting to be. A more or less anonymous dick in some semi clean bathroom . .well some people are looking for that really, just an extreme close up of the fat rolls beneath their chin, I guess they are saying that so something that you are going to have to love about them.
