A little snow

We only got about 7 inches of snow this week, but we had some wind. Our ground is open enough that drifting is really the biggest problem. I did get one picture that gives a idea of what it's like. It would be a good time to be snowed in with a hottie. Ha ha

A busy time of year

It has been a busy time of year for me, and things have not been very peachy, my corn crop really went to hell with all the rain we had this growing season. My soil really holds the water and it locked up the fertilizer I applied for the corn crop. Normally my corn plants are 8-12 feet tall. This year they plants averaged 4-5 foot tall. But that's farming. My soybeans are doing better and I believe they will save the whole year. My cell service has been getting steadily worse all summer and fall. I noticed that I had been here and replied to several blogs but had problems posting. I guess just poor service with my internet service. Like this morning I had to go to a different part of the farm a little over half a mile away to get internet service. Ha ha like my motto in farming, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Ha ha have a great day and maybe things will get closer to normal in the future.
