Loneliness They say that which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger ,.... Well whoever said that musta been one strong willed SOB. I've found that throughout my journeys in life,that somethings just don't get better, there is always that ache there . Yes , it might disappear for awhile, but it always there somewhere, lurking waiting to rear it's ugly head again when you least expect it . Although the person who said those supposed words of wisdom thought it could be applied to most any scenario in life , there are exceptions to the rule . Take for instance Loneliness do we ever get over that feeling ,that we're all alone in this great big world? No we don't ! Whether it be a loved one lost to death or , cause it just wasn't meant to be ,we never truly get over it . Though some may argue that point ,I say this .We never get over it , we just patch it for a little while ,we fill the void. Something new and exciting comes into your life and presto no more lonely , problem solved .Whoa ....don't you believe that , you just put a temporary bandage on it .Did it make you any stronger? No I don't think so ,you just learned a lesson along the way...it may have made you a better person ,but don't believe stronger , after all we just patched it . Trust me when that feeling of lonely hits again your not gonna be any stronger to fight it...just a little wiser on how to try and avoid the situation again...... Peace Sirl |
