Shadow Child 2 What once seemed but a dream ....that fleeting glimpse now became a hunger only to be sated by a quest to the world of the shadow child.Take me to your realm shadow child to the land of the shadows beyond the mist.Take me to you lair , show me the wonders of you world once more.Quench my thirst, free me from the confounds of this mortal realm and loose me to dance in the magic of the shadowed moon.Tis your presence I feel within ,looking upon me with unseen eyes .Come dance with me shadow child ,let me hunger no more ...... Walking slowly amidst the shadows , on the edge of your realm..I wonder of this need of yours...looking out at you hidden from view..I hear your thoughts and pause as I contemplate what it is that you truly seek. An escape from the mundane reality you call your own...an adventure in my realm...a discovery of a place among the mists and on the edge of conciousness...the place where darkness captures and surrounds...a place where the mists swirl and the light escapes...a place where I walk and breathe, all that is me. Would one as yourself be able to enter...to dance beneath the ever shadowed moon? Tis not for the faint of heart nor the weak of character...the dark hungers that ripple through your body ..only made stronger by my mere presence...the thirst you crave to be sated ..you shall find plenty to quench that thirst..but is it what you truly desire? ...For the realm you seek is mine and once there, will you beg to be released from my dance or shall you remain...tis a fine line that you shall cross and one which you may regret all your days... Look into a puddle at your feet and see me behind you...look into a darkened mirror and my reflection looks back....close your eyes and feel my presence as I watch you and feel your thoughts... A shadow child am I...and you a mere mortal...two vastly different beings...shall I lead you through the mists to what you seek...or artfully dodge you and leave you wondering...if it was all a dream...a trick of your vision...a glimpse of nothing... |

and the story is taking more shape.... very well done thus far A persons heart will tell you how they lived,and perhaps died But it can never tell how it loved.

For someone who's been suffering from writer's block, this and your other post are truly remarkable. I'm looking forward to reading more about the Shadow Child.  Pixie
