Why 50 isn't so bad...
- You've made through more than half your life and your still here.
- You can laugh your ass off when you're you get carded to buy a pack of cigarettes or booze.
- You can tell the clerk who's carding you you're old enough to be their parent or grandparent.
- For some us us ladies, we can have sex and not worry about getting knocked up.
- Sex is fun...not just a requirement.
- Retirement isn't that far away any more.
- You're not afraid to use that AARP card to save $.
- You've become that UNFILTERED family member.
- You know your ultimate relationship is now YOU.
- You're cool with doing things alone....Going to the movies, taking yourself to lunch...
- You are who you are and don't give a damn if someone likes it or not.
- A two or four passenger vehicle is now practical and necessary. No...I can't help you move!
- You can use your age as an excuse to not do shit you really didn't want to do in the first place.
- A person you can talk to and can make you laugh are more of a turn on than the hottie with the body.
- You realize there is still so much more to do and see, so you just get up and go to it.
- You laugh at the 20 and 30 somethings paying to have their hair bleached gray.
- Grandkids know you're way cooler and smarter than their parents....lol
- You know there is a ton of fun things to do in life if the battery on a device dies.
- All the big shit is now a bunch of lil shit that you can breeze on through.
And Finally ---- - You're sexy and you know it!
