The Begining

Well I finally decided to give passion a shot and made myself a member. I have seen a few people that I really like and messages have been sent. Now the real test begins, the wait for a response.

I suppose I should explain my hopes for this site. I hope that I can get the chance to meet at least one person in Bismarck willing to just go out. Attraction is a subjective thing and you really need time to see if you are attracted to one another. I like my personal looks and am happy with myself as a person but will anyone else?

I read so many profiles on dating sites and seems folks get this perfect ideal in their mind of their match and they close their mind to an even better person standing right in front of them just because he may wear glasses or is a certain hieght.

Yeah okay coming to this site you do leave the pretense that you enjoy and are looking for sex. But I really hope I can find that diamond in the rough, that friend you can rely on to be there and make you feel special.

I've always felt the best relationships are those that have developed from a good foundation and friendship is one of them. Why be with someone that you can stand or doesn't respect you? You think you can change them but you may break the spirit and lose that which attracted you to them in the first place.

So is there room in passion among all the sex crazed men looking for a one night stand, for an intelligent guy seeking someone to be close with again.
