I had this same choice, sigh, and it was a hard one to make to be sure. My main FWB, would not abide by any of the rules, except masking, when she was somewhere & not given a choice. She also would not limit her contacts with others, even when a close friend got COVID, she stayed away until he was 2 weeks out of hospital, but thats all. She did get a test then, that was last summer however, and her social contacts have gotten more numerous & potentially dangerous. So as of a week ago, I told her we were done, until COVID risks were over, as I had to much to lose (my life in fact), to continue, knowing her disregard for the rules & precautions! I had 3 other FWBs, tho saw them much less often than the 1st, and have done the same with them as well. The 4th, is on preggers leave, with twins on the way by her live-in BF (hopefully hubby in the future), but I am hoping she will resume with me when she gets horny enuf!
