Instant messenger I have been on and off this site for quite some time now and have fiddled with the instant messenger from time to time. Most of the time I get bombarded by so many requests I can't keep up. And wind up pissing off quite a few people who I am sure think I bailed on them. Nope sorry the screen froze... Anyway I tend to avoid it because of its many quirks. I was on the other day to clear out the numerous im's that I had received while checking mail and noticed a friend had sent me a message. I shot him a quick hello and it was on! My screen blew up and it was a mad house. I realize this is one of the few ways standard members can contact others, but really??? Ok so I decided I had some time to chat with a few. And oh boy what a mistake!!! When did everyone get on im to just talk dirty and cam? The last time I was on people also used it to connect and make plans to meet. It finally got to the point that I had to start telling people up front, "I'm not here to cyber, cam, or sext." Of course there were a few who thought they could slip through the cracks and try to get me to talk dirty but it didn't last long. So can anyone tell me when it came down to this? This behavior makes it even harder for standard members who are truly interested in meeting more difficult. Grrrr  |

the working part of the IM here is sure a problem at best! Maybe someday they will get it to work!

same thing happens to me, on a smaller scale tho. maybe 1 out of 20 men who contact me actually want to converse instead of show me their penis...or ask to see my lady parts....if they only knew that by getting to know them a little better i would probably share things with them much sooner (or in this case at all since they appear pervy). maybe they are this way because there are so many more men on this site than women that they feel they have to put their best case out there as soon as possible?? LOL

Lady: The frustration can indeed go both ways... knowing you have over 1500 IMs plus a few posts, perhaps you read replies and comments to your posts: What are the odds, will spend a couple Saturdays at the Club nursing a drink, maybe the conversation flows easier there.. c'ya?

NSA I read all replies and comments to my posts. But I cannot or may not always respond. It depends on numerous factors.
