BURNS

BURNS
I think everyone who reads this tiny blog (the few of you dear readers!) knows how much I respect health, and how much I believe in the healing power of our bodies. I also believe in Natural tricks and herbal supplements used by the human community for centuries to help our bodies heal...

I'm not accident prone, so I've never tried this natural treatment for burns, but it's something I've filed away in my memory. Perhaps you'll also find this short article useful, if not now, sometime in the future!

A young man sprinkling his lawn and bushes with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide remained in it. He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapors inflamed and engulfed him. He jumped from his truck, screaming. His neighbor came out of her house with a dozen eggs. She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks. Another neighbor woman helped her apply the whites on the young man's face. When the ambulance arrived and when the EMTs saw the young man, they asked who had done this. Everyone pointed to the lady in charge. They congratulated her and said: "You 've saved his face." By the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses to thank her. His face was like a baby's skin.

Healing Miracle for burns:
Keep in mind this treatment of burns which is included in teaching beginner fireman this method. First aid consists of spraying cold water on the affected area until the heat is reduced and stops burning the layers of skin. Then, spread egg whites on the affected area.

One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water. In spite of the pain, she ran cold faucet water on her hand, separated 2 egg white from the yolks, beat them slightly and dipped her hand in the solution. The whites then dried and formed a protective layer and continued during at least one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white. She later learned that the egg white is a natural collagen. By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day there was hardly a trace of the burn. 10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal color. The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.

I remember stories of people who've had terrible burns... I don't know if the egg white treatment would have helped them or not, but it's a simple enough remedy to remember, and eggs are almost always available..

i hope you the doggies and M are staying cool it was 110 by me over the weekend
Thank you for being concerned Need! Yes, the dogs are inside under AC., as are M. and me.. The weather this August has been terrible here too. About 110 or above, and with humidity of 90%.

We have two very good window air conditioners in our main living quarters, plus an swamp cooler that we like to turn on at night to put a little humidity in the air when it's very dry.

I take the dogs for walks with M. and me before the sun gets up in the morning, and after it sets in the evening. We're all getting cabin fever from being restricted to living inside for all this month of August!

I don't remember where you live, Need, but I hope your place is equipped with a good way to cool it down.. Many places in L.A., also suffering from high temps., don't have any AC. xxxxdavidstardust

Right on Charmaine! The Chemical Companies put out stuff that sometimes harms us more than helps us, and,,, if course they charge too much for most of their stuff... I DO use their antibiotic ointment from time to time when I cut myself on old scraps of metal, but whenever I can, I use the old time remedies and they seem to work very well for me. xxxxdavid.
