Dreams I am a dreamer. I have lots of dreams; sometimes while I’m even awake I have dreams. Not too long ago I dreamt that I was in a dark room filled with unlit candles and one small window. I tried to stand up and before I knew it, I was in the middle of an island with a waterfall behind me then fast forward to the beautiful man welcoming me into the water for a swim. The candles returned this time floating on the water and it was dark again. The moonless night and calm wind sent chills up my spine. JUST like that, I woke up. Sometimes my dreams are crystal clear, sometimes I don’t have a clue what they mean. Vivid dreams, explicit dreams I chose not to share, and nightmares even come out to scare the lights out of me. Are you a dreamer???? Do you remember your dreams? Are they sometimes weird?  live more, laugh often, love much |

Yes I dream.I think they are an interesting story in themsleves..an escape from reality ....some come true though with time It can be good

Certified professional dreamer, PhD. Lucid, class 4 certified. And yes, for the sake of full disclosure, registered dream offender in 4 states... Dreaming and fantasy are important cognitive functions. People tend to ignore if not underestimate the power and yes, the necessity of both. We need dreams to solve the unresolved, to re-think and reassess seemingly contradictory ideas, to crystallize motivations, to imagine the otherwise impossible, to have that creative cathartic breakthrough...Both lucid and non-lucid dreams act in ways that creates a self-awareness that is also often overlooked. I warn them all...Do not underestimate the power of dreams....

Sometimes and even then just bits and pieces usually. Recently, as I struggled with this nasty flu, my dreams mixed up my coughing and congestion with some sort of building project. My mind and dreams just kept centering on finding the building solution by controlling my body. It was way weird. It was also way nice to hear your voice as I made my way down to New Orleans...sort of comfort food for my soul.

I do dream a lot, while I am asleep as well as when I'm awake, lol. The ones that make an impression on me are the recurring scenarios, which I remember, and then they somehow fit themselves into the next dream. For example, if ever I am driving a car in a dream, the brakes never work if I am in reverse gear. Why not? No idea, but if I have to reverse the car, I am standing on the brakes but the car won't slow down. I never have a bad crash or damamge anything, but it just keeps rolling. Drives me crazy! Dreamer.
