emotion wont ever leave the equation. it is hard wired into us. i know how you feel, it may get better or more tempered with age. i know that getting older did that for me.

Why do you consider it a failure or a waste of time, I wonder? You may not end up with the previously desired end result ... But you do come away with something, whether it's new knowledge about yourself or that type of relationship, how to handle people of that type or recognise the signs before you invest any more time.

Soaking is it a flaw not to give up no ,it can make life difficult at times . When donna proposed to get into the lifestyle me a farm boy had some reservations but did I give up on her and I no . It brought us closer and left me with some of the most amazing memories I have ,could I give up when she had cancer no although many times I wanted to ,to give up on friends well many of donna and my frends deserted us when she had cancer but those who did not are true friends ,I see many things alike in you and donna ,I believe you are both amazing woman . I believe that everyone in life that you meet or touch in some way you make there life better .I know the times we have chatted at wing night and your posts here have allowed me to heal in some ways over my loss of donna . So is it a flaw or a gift in one way you help others just being you ,my thoughts are that don't change but I only know a little about you but what I see are that you are a great lady with a love of life that lives it to the fullest . forgive my typing here not my strong point Kerry

It's almost scary how much like you are on the one where you hate failing (on the personal side). I've had a best friend for a while now who others have asked why I'm so hooked to this person. I've been ignored, had to deal with their massive depression to the point where I sought out help for not only them but me too for emotional support. What others failed to see though was the behind the scenes stuff where that best friend was my backbone, the kick in the ass when I needed it, and the shoulder to cry on when I needed that. I felt it was only right (even though others around me shook their heads) for me to stay strong and supportive. Dog with a bone...ya know lol..
