I wonder... Do people have a preference for it? My first job out of university was in the Maryland suburbs just north of Washington. Most of my co-workers were older - say early-40's and above - so I quickly bonded with a late-20's-aged, self-assured and very well-dressed African-American guy who worked in my same department.
