While I Can Still This poem was written by a friend of mine who is legally blind and her remaining eyesight continues to deteriorate. She is a respected advocate in the blind and partially-sighted community. I have been proud to support her through a number of volunteer activities. I have shared this before. However, her words seem particularly poignant during the past few days and helped me put things into perspective. Give thanks and appreciate, Find peace and joy, Keep the faith, I will keep on going. While I can still… Breathe the gift of life, I will keep on going, Till my journey ends. |

What a beautiful poem, and we all keep going no matter what life throws at us. I hope your day is treating you well.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

This was beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my mother and her health issues we are facing. My mother does this every day and she is a strong woman who is fighting every day to live life to the fullest. The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.
