How Do You Want To Be Remembered?  People want to be remembered as kind and generous after they die, not wealthy and powerful. There's been a trend of high-profile billionaires promising to give away a large chunk of their fortune, eventually and this might be why. Someone conducted a survey on how people would like to be remembered after they pass away and 43% of people want to be remembered as a "good person." Other popular responses were: kind, caring, loyal, helpful, a good listener, loving, happy, a good spouse, being true to yourself, a good parent, easy-going, hardworking, funny and generous. The list did not include things some people might like being known as while they're alive: wealthy, powerful, famous, ruthless, and important. In the survey, 65% of people said they believe it's important to leave behind a positive legacy. And 46% say they'll give a small percentage to charity in their will. |

My oldest daughter gave me a Father's Day card this year with a message that read "To a dad who understood that great parenting lies somewhere between "'don't do that' and 'oh, what the hell'". I'd like to paraphrase that to 'to a friend who understood that being a great friend lies somewhere between don't do that and oh, what the hell. And as an addendum include "So sophisticated, just a little crazy".

well to many people im dead already and the same to them. i am who i am. i hope i didn't step on to many toes in life. i hope i did help family ,friends and stranger. i had my good time i had my bad. many that know me i could be happy or mad i've never hurt anyone, took advantage of them. i hope to be remember as a person that cared was interesting , and wanted to have a good time. life is short and i have many older friends that i want to be like at their age. if i made you smile then my day is made. i hope you have a wonderful day and a better tomorrow

Good question. It's a Q that everyone has to ask themselves. I want my dash ( the line between birth date and death date ) to have impacted those i came into contact with to be kinder/gentler / productive souls of the world~~

What does it matter how I will be remembered when I'm gone, it won't make any difference to me then. Please don't let me be misunderstood.

For me I don't know yet as I really haven't given much thought to this question. I would hope that I am remembered a caring and loving person. I hope your enjoying being back at work, and I hope you enjoy your weekend..  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

For me I don't know yet as I really haven't given much thought to this question. I would hope that I am remembered a caring and loving person. I hope your enjoying being back at work, and I hope you enjoy your weekend.. Work has been an adjustment and overall, people have been terrific. Next week, I switch to 3 days and that will give me more time to recover!
