I hadn't heard of Aunty Acid before, but she reminds me of Maxine with great quips. It's been an eventful week but overall a good one. I do find it frustrating to not be able to communicate on IM or on passion e-mail. I received an unexpected hotplace e-mail yesterday from a chatter so that made it a good day. How's life been treating you, dear lady?

I do find it frustrating to not be able to communicate on IM or on passion e-mail. I received an unexpected hotplace e-mail yesterday from a chatter so that made it a good day. How's life been treating you, dear lady? Yes, there are so many limitations if you do not have a gold membership. However, it's also a reason many bloggers do have a private mail box to make it easier for standard members to reach out. There's been a litany of challenges since before COVID arrived. I have blogged about some. I take nothing for granted and treat every day as a blessing.

While travelling this week I ran in to an old high school classmate - we graduated in 1965 and I don't think I have seen him since. When we met this past weekend that he had be hit by a falling tree and had been in a wheelchair for the past 41 years. But he was in good spirits and we parted, grateful that we had seen each other again and I realized again how lucky I have been throughout my life and even when I am having a rough spot there are so many that are far worse off than I have ever been.
