My two best friends have upcoming birthdays so I mailed cards to them. A work colleague called for some advice regarding a paycheque discrepancy. I tipped my hairdresser generously.

Well, I've only started my day ten minutes ago, so not much to go on so far. I'll play it by ear and see how things fly. I always try to do right by other people when I can. But I've got a lot of irons in MY fire these days, so I'll be taking care of my own business. If I'm having a productive and positive day — I'm sure some of that magic dust will get sprinkled on the people I interact with and meet. I started the day feeling like it was one of those blaarg days when I don't feel like doing much. Funnily enough, one or two blogs here (like this one) uplifted me, rather than the other way round. So today, someone else was the one for me. That's nice!

I was in the line to check out - only had one item but the lady behind me was juggling 6-7 items and no cart so I picked up my item and gave her my cart. Certainly not a biggie but she did thank me and her smile indicated she was grateful.
