All alone


Spending so much time along just means that I need to keep busy I suppose. Though I do wonder how much longer this will go on. I wonder how the powers that be will announce an "all clear" or "it is safe to go shopping again". What are the criteria they are waiting for? How do we determine the curve is flat enough. How do we know that we have "beaten" Corona. Even when we all get through this, will it happen again next year with Covid20, or in a few years with Covid22? I can understand the logic in what we are doing now and why it is done, but is this the new way of life with a seasonal isolation cycle?

 I would like to hope the virus will end up affecting us the way the seasonal flu does... requiring annual vaccinations with a high but acceptable number of fatalities.
Apparently though scientists think otherwise from the commentary I have been reading via the MIT Technology Review.
