Very excited!

I got some great news today! So, I have made my decision to move to California in January. My sister found a job online and told me about it. I filled out the online application and sent my resume about three weeks ago. Applications for the job closed on Aug 5th.

I was talking with my sister today and told her I still had not heard anything yet. However, I had not checked my emails for the day. (Now this is a government job and I hear the process is definitely a slow one.) Well, after coming back from lunch I checked and I had an email from them stating I had been selected to move to the next process and take a written exam for this position! I was soooo excited!!! I called my sister back and told her the good news. We both went online to check for airfare and found a pretty good one to fly me out for the weekend of the test.

I have my flight booked and I am keeping positive about this. I will have myself a job before I even get out to California.
