Like life, Oscars were predictable, then there were surprises. I am glad "Green book" won best picture as the two leads were good and the story compelling. For the young and those with poor memories the bad days of discrimination on race were part of U.S. history. The upbeat part is that good people learning from each other can overcome prejudice. Viggo and Ali were a strong pair.

I thought "A star is born" should have won more awards, but this star faded. A big box office hit with the best song and lots of chemistry between the actors.

"Black Panther" and "Roma" and "Blackkklansman" shows diversity has come to Oscars.
