Yesterday, I had the pleasure of running into 2 former military members that I shared a lot of great and no so great memories with. I consider them friends and had not seen them in at least 5 years. we had time for a long chat, catching up on each others life's. It was a lot of fun and brought to mind how many people have come and gone through my life . It started a flow of thought that we have things that we sometimes take for granted and don't appreciate them until they are gone. Does , or has this happened to you? I think I will make a better effort to keep in touch with people that mean something to me, because they , or I may be gone anytime.

 I made the best friend I ever had when I was a senior in high school. We did a lot of things together, had a lot of fun and made many many memorable moments in our lives. Eventually he became an alcoholic I got married. We drifted apart and eventually lost touch. While living in Vegas I had undertaken a new hobby of sorts and knew Debo would be the only one to completely "get it". My brothers did...kinda... as did my mom and a couple other friends.

For several years I really regretted losing touch with him because I knew how much fun we had in the past and I missed that. I also knew how much he would laugh at the things I was creating for my new hobby. Last year I got the bright idea to try and find his sister and brother-in-law through FB. Success!!

We've been catching up a lot over the past several months, remembering old stories and a ton of funny shit, hopefully we'll be able to get together sometime soon!
Everyone is on a different plane of intelligence. Some people's plane has not taken off yet!!

 Catching up with olf friends is great. Though friends sometimes drift because of various circumstances, friends always remain friends.

 I just got together with a few girls who I served with for golf Friday a couple of weeks ago. It is always nice to see them again and see what they are up too. Two are still serving and other one is working part time. hugsssssss V
