Today is the day! National Hot dog day! One of the staples for summer. Whether they are grilled, boiled, broiled, pan-fried, rotisserie cooked, cooked on a stick over a campfire or any other way, hot dogs are a favorite summertime staple. They are loved by children and adults alike plain or garnished with one or a combination of mustard, ketchup, onions, mayonnaise, relish, cheese, bacon, chili, or sauerkraut. I ate a "ton" of them as a kid and young adult. I have backed off on them, but when I do, I eat them with gusto. do you enjoy them? If you do, how do you like them cooked? What is / are your condiments of choice. Make sure you celebrate with at least one today

 I love mine sliced on the angle, and char grilled to a semi blackened stage. Load the bun with spicy relish followed by pub grain mustard then the dog. Bun can be grilled or not but I prefer whole wheat buns( Trader Joe's). Funny you posted this- I just bought a box of Kayem for tomorrow.

 I think hot dogs taste best when they're grilled and eaten outdoors. I will put cheese on mine but generally speaking - I like my wieners naked!
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 They are best eaten outdoors, grilled or cooked over a campfire. Deli style mustard and relish are best.

 This is interesting as I went to the store this morning because they had Farmer John, bacon, polish sausage, ham and of course hot dogs on sale today for some great prices on the big packages. I like mine with chili or barbecued. I hope you have a sexciting Hump Day..

 I celebrated yesterday, and prefer them cooked over an open campfire, or barbecued.

My favourite condiments are 1000 Island Dressing, dill pickle relish, onions, mustard, sauerkraut, and salsa. I occasionally with have a cheese/chili dog if I am out, but rarely prepare them at home.
