A phrase that makes Me cringe is ; I have been knowin So & So for years .
I prefer to use; I have known So & So for years . Or is it that I am not Savvy to the new style of English & Grammar
- The decline in the English language can partly be attributed to the increase in technological advances, that ironically has made mere humans into mindless button pushers communicating smoke signals now digitally...yes, there is a loss in translation, and unfortunately, it's a bit hard to decipher it because it often leaves us tongue tied.

I have been unable to figure out why a simple, one syllable, four letter word like 'your' even needs to be shortened to 'ur'.

Reading the blogs can sometimes be a challenge between typos, auto-correct, and the site's own habit of dropping words.
- In a world now overrun by technological advances in communication, it seems the English language and all aspects of grammar simply go out the window. So, "your" is now "ur" because, it saves the texter/typer all but 1.2 seconds of their time to spell out the entire word.

As for issues on site in regards to what is printed on screen, I have noticed that there are several dropped words missing from a lot of my blog posts of late; yes, I make mistakes, but these are so blatant that it does make it hard to read when checking out recent posts.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

After having a small stroke reading this, I suggest you remove the speck from your own eye before criticizing the casual linguistic lapses of strangers
- I won't be the first nor will I be the last person to notice when something isn't grammatically correct, when a person speaks or types something out. I am sure you've noticed the large number of people on here, and on comment boards all over, who don't use "Your and You're" or "To, Too, and Two" correctly.

I am know I am not a perfect writer by any means myself; I make mistakes and sometimes, I type faster than my brain processing the thoughts. I trip, but I admit when I'm wrong.

However, If this particular person, wishes to destroy the verb "Take" in a sentence, by all means, more power to them. But from an observational standpoint, I'm not passing up the opportunity to write about it, just because it might hurt their feelings.

On that note, thanks for chiming in; feel free to swing on in, anytime.
