"Be meant to be or Not be meant to be"

"Be meant to be or Not be meant to be" Be meant to be or Not be meant to be this is the question! Both can be justified. A while back my son-in law had lottery fever. He bought two powerballs, 1 pick 3 ticket, 1 pick 4 tickets and bought some scratchers and end up spinning $23 and only won $4. The exact words out of his mouth was "It wasn't meant to be". He was ok with his loss. To all your Football fan, I'm a Minnesota Vikings fan and last 6 years they was in the playoffs twice. They played the New Orleans Saints twice, the 1st time they played and the last play of the game, the Vikings WR Stephon Diggs caught a pass and scored. That played was called "The Miracle of Minneapolis". Then the second time in the playoff they beat the Saints AGAIN! Both times I got a called from a friend. She said, Yoo hoo, Yeah! Drew, your team won! She also said, "It was meant to be"! She said the same thing each time, almost word for word. We live in a society that we need justification. This is how we roll! Even our children and grand children look for it too. Just for an example here are some cliche you heard before. "It's not in God's plans", "Everything happens for a Reason", "It's in the cards". "Luck of the Irish", We can't control something we have on control of", "The second time around", "Third time the Charm", "At first you don't succeed, try, try again","Reap what you sow", This is a few I know, I bet each of you can think of another! Maybe these are meant to be, or maybe not?????       |

I have heard others say, It is what it is, to many times to count. It sounds like a justification to put no more effort into something, or a way to self reason to discontinue their efforts. My 2 cents....lol

The cop today, didn't notice me as I ripped up to him. I recognized holding at the last minute. He drove away without looking at me. It wasn't meant to be. ❗😎❗
