Gracie Gets a Dog

He's certainly the tiniest dog I've ever had. I just jokingly put the remote next to him since he was being kind of a dick with all the humping...and he's about the same length! He quivers a lot, so Gracie could use him for a vibrator. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Even when he stands on his hind legs he doesn't reach her back! He DOES attach himself, too- he wraps himself around a rear leg and hangs on! I'm amazed she tolerates that so calmly. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

That is awesome ... amazing. Two beautiful dogs and their personalities are so ... enthralling. I think that's the word I'm looking for. From my perspective, when I was growing up we adopted a stray cat that followed me home one day in 5th grade. He was a tiny energetic spasmic little orange cat like Morris. He would get so spastic that he would go running through the house and slam into the couch. Then as he got older he sized up. We don't know if there was maybe some wildcat in him or something but he was the size of toaster oven by the time he was an adult, and it slowed him down, but he would sure scare the hell out of dogs. A neighbor was talking to my mother once and her pit bull had wandered over to our car port. Up until the moment that Friskie stood up and so that his paws were near the door knob. That dog flew back to his house. Then we found another stray. She was black with white boots, hence my brother named her Bootsie, and when she came into the house ... the old slow orange cat of ours would chase her through the house, at night it sounded like buffalo were racing through the house. And it always ended the same way. She would turn over onto her back and batter his face with her rear feet, kicking him relentlessly until he backed off. As far as I know I don't think Friskie ever got a piece of Bootsie, but they both filled our house with additional personality and excitement. Awesome new addition to yours. I had Malemutes before and they were death on cats. They knew they weren't allowed to rough up the house cats , but any outdoor cat was fair game. Most self respecting cats can handle a dog, but I never saw one of my Malemutes back down from a cat or a coon. They used to tag team raccoons just for entertainment. It was gruesome! Believe me when I tell you, that was a rare moment! Usually Marco is on her like a recently released convict in a whorehouse with a winning lottery ticket. We went for a short hike today- a mile and a half- and Gracie swam in the creek. Marco wouldn't go in the water but he's been licking her ever since. He just loves it when she gets wet. I can't see any of the pics.  Gracie is well named. i'm not so sure how my Charlie would take to an interloper. but it's lovely that the little guy has found a safe place to land. you're a good man. You cannot conceive the many without the one.

You said that on another post! Are you using a platform or app that interferes? The pics show on my laptop...I don't get it! The site often steals pics- they stole these too, and I had to repost them, but they stayed up after the third try. My last dog,Rocky, was a Malemute and his motto was "I am the lord thy dog. Thou shalt have no other dogs before me." He'd have swallowed Marco in one not very large gulp. I loved that dog, but he could be a liability at times. I had to watch him like a hawk around other critters. When we petted the cat, it was an abomination in the eyes of the dog. Gracie is just a sweetheart. She's exuberant but she hasn't got a mean bone in her. So...thank you, but it's my animals who are good- I'm just the caretaker. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Sure this wasn't just another naked ploy to be the top couples blogger? The dogs are getting along very well. Gracie is awfully good natured and Marco is a pretty nice little dog in spite of his nervous tic. I tried looping his leash through the handle of an empty liquid detergent bottle, to prevent him from squeezing through the fence, but he freaked out at dragging the thing around. I guess it'd piss me off too, if I was him. He's been hiking with us for a week now and he loves it. I wasn't sure he could handle the distance but he's a real trouper!
