Fucking Big Idiot's

Interesting that Trump has decided to fire James Comey isn't it?

I wonder what it was that brought that about.

Could it be his obvious leaning toward Trump in the way he handled things last fall?

Could it be the obvious bullshit story he was weaving during his testimony before the Senate judiciary committee?

Could it be just more smoke and mirrors to obfuscate the Russian connection to the Trump campaign?

Quoted from CNN...
Comey admitted in the Senate hearing that the decision on whether to inform Congress of the re-opened investigation or keep quiet until more could be known about the contents of the emails found on the Weiner-Abedin computer made him "mildly nauseous."
But he went ahead with it anyway. And it turned out that the emails on that computer contained nothing new or revelatory. The FBI announced that on November 6, two days before the election.
That decision -- and the impact it clearly had on the election -- has been a very sore spot since November 8. This latest revelation -- that Comey overstated the number of emails that Abedin forwarded to Weiner -- will serve to grind salt into that still-raw wound.
And, more importantly, it will confirm for many Clinton loyalists that Comey knew exactly what he was doing when he sent that letter to Congress. That, contrary to Comey's assertion that "I can't consider for a second whose political fortunes will be affected in what way," he was totally aware that re-opening the investigation would have a negative impact on Clinton. And that he did it anyway.
End quote.

I wonder what Trump lackey will be selected to be the new FBI director?

What will happen to the investigation into the Russian connection?

Should anything be done about Comey's interfering actions in a political campaign?

as a liberal democrat, I can still be outraged at Trump's summary termination of the FBI Director while the FBI is investigating the President's campaign and members of his cabinet. it reeks. we all know it reeks. and it came right after Comey said the investigation was expanding and asked the DOJ for more money so let's be clear on the real reasons for termination.

we all remember Trump yelling LOCK HER UP, despite the fact that he has now expunged his records of those lovely bits from his web pages....unfortunately for him, the press still has them.

Comey was well respected within the ranks of the FBI so Trump also lied about that. and then had a long meetit with the Russians and Russian press (no USA press mind you) .........

ah, the tangled web we weave when once we practice to deceive.

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

I agree with your points. Isn't it ridiculous how he try's to justify his actions. So shallow. But Trump isn't even as deep as a reflecting pool.

I'm presuming Congress could initiate its own investigation if the new FBI chief, hand-picked by Trump, discontinues the investigation.
The noose is tightening!

Congress could start an independent investigation anytime but as congress is overloaded with Republicans right now it would take some who are willing to go against the grain.

This guy is so messy! I think if all this lasts for 4 years, anyone else would be a better candidate for the next elections, even Donald Duck!

I think Donald Duck would make a much better president of anything than Donald Trump.

Have we ever had a president with so much baggage this early in his presidency? . I just can't imagine 4 years of this guy.
Of course Comey did that to sway the election. . That's just so obvious.

Did you hear.... It may be that Trump is turning to his buddy Rudy Giuliani to be selected as the FBI director.

Giuliani is saying no but they always lie like hell anyways so you can't believe them whether they deny or confirm.

Looks like the White House has resorted to pulling out the Watergate playbook. .. I'll always remember Nixon as "Tricky Dick". - I wonder moniker Trump will be remembered by.

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Tricky Trump kind of fits though...

Trump the chump.

Or how about "Crooked Trump"... seems kind of appropriate in an ironic kind of way.

I think it has been done at least once before by Bill Clinton.

I'm sure Trump will try his best to bury the Russian connections.

He was probably the most hated man in Washington, hated by both sides, I'm surprised he didn't quit.

tickles4us replies on 9/5/2017 18h52:
I think his problem was that he wanted a republican to win but he was trying to make it look like he wasn't trying to influence anything. I don't think he really likes Trump at all and Trump knows it. I think Trump was afraid he would be finding something on him and using it.

Soooo...if you think Comey was politically motivated (against clinton) in his choice to inform congress just days before the election....and I have to admit, that is what it looks like to me even though he said over and over again that wasn't the case.....then why would Trump fire Comey? His decision definitely helped Trump's election.

tickles4us replies on 9/5/2017 18h41:
Trump doesn't trust Comey. He's not one of his buddies. He will put his own man in the position to his own advantage.
