My Self Preservation Road Blocks A Poem

It's hopeless isn't it?
You don't know how
To answer that question
I bet.
You don't have
All the facts.
Join the club
On being one
Who lacks.

I lack so very much
What can I actually give?
Well, besides myself
The answer may well
Be nothing at all.

All those symbols
Of society and wealth
I am far from conventional.
So if you are into those
Move on to someone else.

I know I can give pleasure
Of the sexual nature.
But that is not
The only thing
I ultimately want.
But since I feel
So much self doubt
I don't know how
Anyone can get through
My self preservation
Road blocks.

So any man who
Wants to break through
May need a sledgehammer
Or something more powerful.
When he gets inside
My barriers
He had better have
The right answers.
In other words
Be understanding
And non-judgmental.

That's pretty much it. There are very few people who fall into the categories of understanding and nonjudgmental. I have been looking for someone in earnest for three years to no avail. Thank you for your comment.
