Writing Laryngitis A Poem Losing my inspiration Losing my writing voice. It really was the case That I had little choice. I just could not put My jumbled thoughts Into words. I let the numbness win When in the past I might have journaled Through it. Wrote about all my emotions Good and bad. Well in the present case The good were missing. As sadness was prevalent. Setbacks in love Will do this to one. It stops the flow And rush of endorphins. I was sick and tired Of writing about the negative. Falling and losing Once again. And so my writing Chose the silence. Not so much embraced it As I let it envelope me. Days turned into a week And now I am nearer To an even keel. Hoping I end the Laryngitis of putting My thoughts into words. Hoping I start writing Something positive. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Iv'e really missed your poetic voice. So, it was good to read your words. Love - I wonder if we have a choice? Life can be crappy and full of turds!
