When I fall in love It will be like I am transported to the highest mountaintop. I will feel like singing like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music, I will feel like singing with a symphony or orchestra. When I fall in love I will want to write numerous poems, enough to fill a book I will want to write a novel with you as its inspiration. I will make my hero resemble you He will be your incarnation. When I fall in love, I would be like the world's biggest plagiarist. Rand Paul would have nothing on me, I would quote poet after poet From Edna St.Vincent Millay, Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett Browning. And William Shakespeare of course. When I fall in love, I expect my heart will soar up into the clouds I will be like I am in the basket of a hot air balloon. I dare not look down. I would only do that if you were on the ground. Then I would shout to let the air out! When I fall in love all my senses will be heightened, Oh perhaps not the common one But the humor one will be among those. As I witness your zaniness and hear your awful jokes. When I fall in love I will want to taste, touch and explore All the world's treasures, I will want to go on expeditions I will want to be like Anthony Bourdain And his No Reservations How his shows titles lend themselves to poetry With his Parts Unknown Yes, he must have many a romantic bone. My love would be comprised of many of those. When I fall in I love will want to smell the world's most heavenly scents I am talking lavender, lilacs, roses and orchids. I am talking simple things as well like freshly mowed grass, Oh and eucalyptus and jasmine, But nothing would be as special to me as the heady scent you present. I could go on with this line of thought I am sure you could add some of your own. Please do! Play with your ideas and views. After all these words belong to no one in particular They are just part of human experience. Be as wild as you want, Be serious or whimsical Just think of love and falling. As I read this I am saddened by the loss of Anthony Bourdain. I really did not appreciate him as much as I could have ...he really was a good will ambassador for the world. He is sorely missed for his broadening our horizons.  Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely
