What They Want. A Poem

I know what they want.
But I can't give them
That at the moment.
I am just not up
To playing games
When my mind
Is occupied
With other things.

I guess they could
Give me some time
And some space
But I think they have
Made other plans
With other women.

Good for them.
I can't blame them.
Timing may be everything
Add location
And voila
Thats a winning recipe
For success
But not with me
It seems I can't get
Those two aspects
To cooperate.

 Most of my friends are either musicians... or business types, so the only games I've played (except of course for snakes and ladders with my kids), is poker.🃏
But.. in my later years, I learned how to play strip backgammon... ? I could play 'that', with you....
Until the right man showed up........ 😶
I wouldn't even mind, if you beat me... 😑
