On Par Even Excellent A Poem

He really could do wonders
For my self esteem
You see he would go about
Doing things to raise it
With the best intentions
Understanding I am
Not the strongest person
But one who needs
To go at a slower pace.

We would be
On the same level
In some instances
I think we can be
On par
Even excellent
When it comes
To being romantic.
I would let him lead
But follow closely
Never wavering
In my earnestness
For our mutual satisfaction.

In the romance department
He would give my self esteem
A major boost
Reaffirm so to speak
That I have the goods.
I can please
And be pleasured
Thereby making both
Of our egos happier.

The other facets of my life
That he can help with
By giving me support
And encouragement
He has such a gift
He would make
An excellent life coach
If he wanted to be.
But since he is not
I will have the benefit
Of his knowledge
And wisdom
Which he has to give.
