Prompts A Poem Prompts Oh thank you my friend You do me a service A real kindness In making me think. Oh my goodness The tangents The connections. They can be divergent Or fluid What? They are the same Once you see they Have places to go. They coincide And coexist. They are two heads Of the same coin. I suppose I should explain That this is just a trip Don't deny that you Have not taken one Time and time again I would say you were dead. For I think therefore I am. Get me? See me? Feel me? Those were things we said When we wanted to be heard And understood. Back in the 80s. When things were what? You decide. Back to prompts Sometimes they are just To bring one back To the beginning And the start. Lucky for me I get to go back. Are things clearer Or is there more confusion? What is the matter?
