Patsy Cline Mood. A Poem

Oh Patsy Cline
My mood is thine.
Thinking about unrequited love
And cheating partners
Broken hearts
And how to deal with them.
You sang decades ago
But the human condition
Has not changed much
To each his and her own
Devastating breakup.
Your poignant words
And haunting voice
Today still as ever relevant.

I've never met her except through her voice.

Yes Paul. I've only met her through her voice too.

... that.... was a joke....

i met Muddy Waters... once... in a bar in Montreal... the 'old town'. It was a grundgy place. About 50 people sittin' in a dark room listening, to a guitarist and his three piece band, blow the blues... right off the planet.
It was quite the set. It's a bunch of minutes - etched into my brain.

That is so cool that you saw Muddy Waters. I need some experiences like that. I did go to a Blues Festival this past weekend that was really cool. I guess they have it every year for the past 17 years and I'm hope to go next year. I'm going to be writing a poem about it's because it was quite entertaining at times. LOL
