Lying Cowardly Fraud. A Poem

All too often I attach
I latch onto a man
Come to my rescue
With an analogy
That is adequate.

I did it again
And I have to look
Deep within.
Why was this man
So gosh darn fascinating
When for the most part
He demonstrated
He was quite a dick?

Go ahead and shrink
My head if that will
Make any sense.
Perhaps shake
My shoulders
While you are at it
As perhaps my brain
Needs to be unrattled.

All I know is that
The man will not be
Providing me with
Any answers of his own
For the lying cowardly
Fraud is long gone.
And therein lies
The answers
From the beginning
I was played for a fool.

 You're also getting too old to prematurely [less than a year] attach/latch on to a man, and you are getting too old to fall for bouquet of words and flowers.

And again, from the other poem, if you want to reach men, make a connection, you need to speak to men......not text them. Texting doesn't shake them out of the mood they're experiencing at that moment.

Heathen perhaps you are correct in facet. I should have spoken to him. I should have demanded a voice, a presence. No more just texting. That is a cowardly gesture. From now on if a man cannot talk to me on the phone, he can pump sand or you know...use his hand. To be crude and blunt.

Our initial interaction was quite philosophical. I truly enjoyed the our discussions. I could go on with exchanges if he so wished for months or years on various topics if he came clean. But I do not know what is truth and what is fiction at this point. I am who I am.
