Glad your okay! I know what it's like you be battered about from a car, been there once myself. Knocked off my bike, I flipped over the hood and landed on the antenna. Aside from a large cut across my back where the antenna scraped across it. I got off lucky. The bike was never the same. Take it easy and rest up Joy!

Car owner's insurance company will offer you some pity money to settle. Before you sign at the bottom of the offer, please make sure it covers all your medical and leave expenses. Otherwise, get a legal help.

Joy I am glad your going to be OK been worried about you! Good thing you had some people around you that knew what they were doing before the EMT's got their! Wow, thoughts and prayers. Glad you are ok. How scary.. I must ask. Did your shoes come off when you were hit? I am a fireman with over 30 years of service. It always seem the shoes of a struck pedestrian come off. Weird question I know, but in all my years this is my first chance to ask. Get well soon my friend. Check out my blog. Having been hit by a car, and walking away from it, I can honestly say that you were indeed fortunate to have minimal injuries. Heal fast my friend Drop in and visit my blog sometime, but you'll probably regret it

Lucky you have some great jumping reflexes! Glad to hear you are not badly injured and hopefully you will only have some bruising but not deep bone bruises,,,,those hurt for a long time. One winter on a real slippery day a young man ran face first into the passenger front door of my car. I was headed home from work and he was running on the sidewalk and we met at the cross walk, his face flattened against the door window. Thankfully my car was stopped when he hit it. Scared the bejesus out of me! He was alright other than being embarrassed in front of his classmates. I was happy he was A OK. I know you know but "ice n heat" ,anti inflammation medicines and move the body to speed up the healing...the pain will be worse on the 2 nd day after the accident. Glad you are basically ok!
