I can no longer participate in emails :(

I can no longer participate in emails :( Due to the changes that passion has made, I can no longer read emails nor send emails. This was my favorite way to communicate but it's no longer an option for be because I will always be just a standard member. I wish the site would not allow emails to still be delivered to me because I dont have a way to let the sender know I cant read past a few words and I cant respond. Also, I have a large of posts, mostly earned by replying to emails which I can no longer earn so once I spend them on IMs done there as well. I've chatted here a long time but might have to move to another site which makes me sad. But we'll see what happens in the near future. Hopefully those who read my profile will also read this. change sucks. i'll be the first to admit that i uh, don't respond well to change   but have you tried to see if the ICEBREAKER is available to you or not?? look under EDIT PREFERENCES in your ACCOUNT and see if you have the link there or not. it couldn't hurt to look n' see. it could be the game changer you need

Set up a free mail box in your blog, allows you a meager means of messaging .. see BigLala site for directions, Good luck make Note in bold on your profile that you are using the "private mail box" for messaging... I remember when we used to get 25 points just for logging on. We could use them for sending messages. Now, you need to spend 10 points to send an IM lol People say don't complain and be a gold member...but how would Gold members communicate with standard members who can't respond

Consider a private post box on your blog. Instructions at [blog BiggLala]. Yes, the old message threads are lost, but you could still communicate.

when i get an email from a new person, I have to top fan them for 50 points and then I can read it.

Maybe that works for you.... it used to be that way for me but I can no longer respond to anyone sending me an email. ~Lace

I am having the same issue, and I will always be just a standard member. I like your work around, keep in touch

I was bummed out when the emails weren't viable for us standard members. As long as the blogs are up and running, I've been getting by well enough. Actually as long as the other person is gold, then you can receive their emails.
