Weird.....Fake.....or Just A Glitch?

Weird.....Fake.....or Just A Glitch? I saw something very weird tonight while viewing profiles. I viewed a profile - a couples profile, and it indicated there were no pictures or videos on it. But in the updates that are on some profiles (if one chooses to leave them viewable), where people can see your activities like status updates, you uploaded a pic or video, became friends with so and so etc. There were 3 videos in the updates that were apparently uploaded to the profile over a year ago. Anyway....they looked like they were no longer there, but I happened to hover over two of them and the videos were still there and I viewed them. But if I clicked on the video itself, it indicated there was no video. The third could not be seen at all. Soooooooooo strange.... My guess is perhaps they took the videos off the profile recently-perhaps even in the past few hours and they didn't delete off the profile right away? (one of those glitches A*F*F is known for maybe). I'm kinda thinking this was perhaps a fake profile. The couple was originally from Smyrna Delaware....then listed as anycity, Pa. And now when I just looked......the profile is hidden.....lol Just another strange night on A*F*F  Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL  |

That kind of stuff is very typical on this site. Seen the same thing with single female profiles too. I've even been viewed by profiles that haven't been logged in for over 3 months too !! This site anymore is one big GLITCH !!!!

How do you have a profile that was added to A*F*F in 2013, but upload a video in 1969? If the video was taken in 1969..this couple would have been 9 years old. They are not 9 years old in the video I was able to see....lol Just a very weird glitch.... [image] Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

Sometimes when I'm bored I'll have a wee go at "Hot or Not" and quite often you'll be presented with a profile with seemingly no profile picture. But if it's the last one presented to you before you get taken to the "You must upgrade now!" page, it will show that last profile, and invariably there will be a whole collection of profile pictures. It's just another site "feature".

I have had someone show as having "viewed" me and then when I click on their profile, it says they have not been on in over three months. LOL I get a feeling that passion does not pay a lot for their IT people and thus, they don't have the best talent. God, if it wasn't for the sexy profiles of all of us loyal customers on here, their business would be terrible! LOL  Cum follow my blog and feel free to leave a comment. It's what makes the chat interesting!

Yes I have seen this before too. I get some that say they viewed my profile and I try to look at their profile and can't see it like it was never their at all. Butch

Yes....I've had that one happen too. Or I'll write an email and the whole thing will disappear when you hit the send button. Seems like A*F*F is never going to fix these glitches...so I guess it's just part of the "experience".....lol Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

LOL I suspect that you're right, their IT people are paid peanuts...so they don't care what goes on or they aren't quite sure how to do their jobs. This isn't the only website in the Various Inc. arsenal....there are a zillion of them (ok..maybe a few less....lol). Just Google Various Inc or hook up sites and you'll see how many. They have to be raking in some $$$. Too bad they don't put out a decent product. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh well.......  Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

Butch I think some may be married people that don't feel comfortable leaving their profile out all the time- just in case. And then I think some are just fake profiles and they don't want too much scrutiny. Who knows really....those are just my thoughts....lol Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL
