Limp dick syndrome I wouldn't want to be man these days. There is so much pressure put on you. Women can fake it very easily but you HAVE to perform and when you can't perform you are called "LIMP DICK"... Women don't have to worry about hair loss, shrinkage and other issues that men have to deal with but we do have to go through changes and mid life crisis too. I will admit that men have it worse than we women do though.. How embarrassing it must be to be in bed with a woman and you can't get an erection. When I was younger I dated an older man who told me he had erectile dysfunction. I was so ignorant to what that was ... that I told him if he had to take a pill to be with me then I didn't want him... I was admittedly an idiot back then. I am now ashamed of the way I behaved when I was younger. When do you tell your date/girlfriend that you have erectile dysfunction. The answer is "there is never a good time"... but hopefully if you have issues with this condition you will find a woman who is understanding.. Any comment on this topic?? Hi Kitten, I was one of those young men that into my late and early 40's I could get hard and stay hard for a good long time. Now, like many men my age, I have ED issues. It makes me shy away from advances from ladies that in the past I would chase without a second thought. Yes, there are treatments and pills, but they do not always work for all men. But I have been lucky enough to find a lady that is supportive and understanding beyond what I thought could be possible. Maybe her being a nurse is why she is so understanding. And I have found out, through being with her, that even without a hard cock, I CAN please her and we are both happy with that.

I think you have it wrong. Although meds don't work for all men, they do work for most. So there are drugs to cure ED. However, there is nothing to cure when a woman is inorgasmic. Women's orgasms are waaaay more complicated, and a lot more than biology is involved. Its way more mental and I thing there's a ton of research to conclude that. So there are drug therapies to resolve inorgasmic or ED in men. Nothing to date for women. However, the drug company that does resolve women's problems in orgasms is going to get rich beyond Bill Gates' dreams!

Unfortunately, these days, ED is affecting more and more young people. I've had a few experiences with this issue, and they all happened on first time encounters. It was embarrassing for sure, but the women were always sympathetic. It's been a big issue with me since my mid 20s due to radiation therapy and surgery I had. I have tried various therapies that do work. One of them was an injection into the penis which took about 10 minutes to work. It certainly took the spontaneity out of things but, I would get hard enough to cut diamonds for hours. It does make it near impossible to develop a relationship though. I wish I could find a woman that would explore ways to enjoy ourselves. It sucks

To be honest, Kitten, I have had experiences at both extremes. ANY guy, at one time or another and for any number of reasons might not be able to perform. Actually the same is true for premature ejaculation. I was involved with one lady where there was an episode of both. She wasn't very understanding and moreover didn't seem to want to discuss it at all. A short term relationship I had involved a lady that totally understood and was very supportive. I would still be with that one today except for her moving across the country and me unable to follow her. While it may seem hard, it all comes back to communication and honesty for me. Sure, the first thought it to explain the instance away and/or "ignore" it, but talking it out and being honest about it even when it makes you vulnerable is my idea of the best way to deal with it. I believe in talking with your partner.
