The DRIVE IN... awe memories

Seven miles from where I live is the only remaining operating drive-in movie theater in this state, and one of only a few in the country. They have movies through the warm months from April until November. It's called the "Big Mo" in Monetta, S.C. and they have two movies on each of three screens on the weekends. There are no X-rated movies as you might think, just regular movies for families.

Yeah! been to a few. I remember when I was a kid, we went to a drive in to see Dirty Harry, and there was a porn flick playing on the screen behind us, well of course me and my brother were checking that out until we got caught by our dad. I've never been to a traditional drive-in movie theater, but I have been to the Fiesta Drive In located in El Paso, TX. What's the difference? The Fiesta shows XXX films, has outdoor "play" areas, as well as an adult novelty shop on the same grounds. Good times!

I do remember the trips to the drive in well. Especially the XXX rated ones. It was very difficult to watch the complete movie when you took your girl to those.
