What is Love? What is the definition of LOVE? What does it mean to be "IN LOVE" with someone?? I've decided that Love equals pain.... maybe I'm just meant to be alone.... Is love worth it?? Is it worth it to allow someone to have the power to hurt you??  THANK YOU GUYS FOR FOLLOWING MY BLOG |

The definition of love to me is you care about someone so passionately that you only see them as someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. You can trust them with you heart and soul. Someone who can make you smile when your not having a great day, and can always talk to about anything in life. She is someone who you would never leave or even think about looking at another woman in a sexual way. You can spend time with her, telling her you love her, bringing her home flowers and chocolates, kissing her hugging her, and always keeping her safe no matter what.

Wow. That's a heavy topic! I wrote a blog post about what people might think it means.... Love is about the eyes and soul of the person u might be kissing - and then - you connect! Your going to be mad, or someone is. It wasn't love if there was hurt involved. Love is something we all confuse with lust. And when that wears off, then the hurt begins. Love is something you can't turn off. So many people confuse the two. But True love is Really Hard to find. I went through this several times before I too got the point.

Love isn't a thing, it's a growing and ever changing thing that's just as alive as we are. You can not define it as you can not define me or yourself.

The meaning of Love is a hard one to put into words for sure. The problem with society now days is most people are "Its's all about me", Which means they hurt the ones that love them and don't even see it happening. When the person you love is the last thing you think about before sleep and the first thing you think about when you wake up. I kind of live by this motto right now. "It's better to be happy and alone, than miserable with someone."

I'm so sure I have no idea anymore, that i wrote a song about it. It's posted on my blog. That said, something I was thinking about the weekend I wrote the song, was that last weekend? True love would have to be close to something that the medical community would say is unhealthy. Co dependency. Where you feel you can't live without the other person, they are everything in your life. Except it would need to be felt by both parties and not just one. If both sides felt that way, would it still be considered a problem? I think, if I could find it, I'd have no problem giving someone that power over me. But to be honest, I'm thinking I'm in the same boat as you. I'll keep singing Solitary Man, by Johnny Cash. I think the ancient greeks had like 6 different kinds of love with various utilitarian levels of complexity. I do believe they put agape up north, top of the compass, and that it was meant to be rather a dominating kinda thing. But for myself it is about the only natural pain killer there is that even a small drop of it ... even distilled down to a third of it's real deal ... make life worth living. Of course ... with that ... it is also the aspect of this experience that makes the rest seem less tolerable. so ... yeah ... it is a chemical cocktail of neurotransmitters that are released based on imago conditioning and accidents of emergence ... so hard to stay with because you know ... other people's different experiences. I think there have been a few poems and books written on the subject ... maybe a few records and songs about it .... but most miss the other side of the coin. It is a four letter word with various levels of icnonity depending on who you say it to and who says it of your. I think like consciousness .. it is a side effect of doing things the correct way. It can't be kept captured or bottled ... enjoy it while it lasts ... remember though most people can forget that they can become a virgin again. Not the best place to be if it is falshearted love ... not that virgins are anything but.

I think when you love somebody you can feel pain or worry, or anxiety. But love should not be equal to allowing somebody to hurt you, may be sometimes the person hurts unintentionally? But it is hard when you hurt constantly, it is not love, it is pain. Sorry.

Hey Pretty Lady! Yes, love can be painful, but that pain is only there because you shared so many beautiful moments with your partner. You willingly opened yourself up to this person and shared your mind, body, and soul with them. You trusted them and they hurt you. But... they also hurt themselves in the process. Just as you shared your love together, you also share heartbreak and pain. Is love worth it? To me, it is. A life without love, wouldn't be worth living.

What is love? The answer is simple. Love is when you consider how your actions will affect someone before you perform them. Mindful, caring, and patient. Is love worth it? Allowing someone to have the power to hurt you? Yes, absolutely. In the immortal words of Alfred Lord Tennyson.. 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. The highest of heights comes with the lowest of lows, and can only be known by giving oneself entirely.

Love to me means trust, without trust there is no passion, and you should know that the person you fall for would never intentionally hurt you. A real man should not only offer you passion, but should make you feel safe, and any man that would intentionally hurt a woman that he claims to love is no man at all. Kitten, love can mean so much to a person. Pain, yes, if there is a sudden conclusion, an unknown unwanted surprise. However, think about those other feelings you had while in love. Happiness, joy, satisfaction, being wanted and hopefully appreciated,. Nothing beats a warm loving hug followed by a tender kiss. Yes, sometimes we are dealt a lemon, but not all the time.
