Unexpected Visitors

I opened up my garage door tonight, only to find 3 bears feasting on acorns in my yard. Needless to say, I shut my garage door and went back into the house.

I typically do not like visitors to stop by unannounced, but I'll make an exception for these beautiful animals.

What about you - do like when visitors stop by unannounced?

They are typically more scared of humans and will run away or climb a tree if they see humans. Of course, this one of the reasons you don't leave your trash out or garage door open.

Happy New Year to you RM.

V - I have deer and raccoons too...I prefer the bears and deer over the raccoons, possums, and armadillos that are around,

No hibernation. I suppose in FL they can find food all year round.

Very true, there are a lot of people that leave their garbage out or leave food in their garage, screened in porch, and even their vehicles that can attract the bears. Additionally, urban sprawl forces them out of their natural habitat.

LOL...I too have a some deer that I see each morning. I'm lucky to live in an area that has wildlife like this around.
