Crazy Cat Monday
I can see the attraction of the cat for the crazy pet hoarder individuals....

Cats are needy.

Always there.... Always wanting attention.



From the minute you get up in the morning until the moment you go to bed at night, a cat will likely be your constant companion.

Do they want attention?

Most of the time, no....

They just want you to basque in their presence. Always present, somewhere off on the sidelines, but always within eye shot of you and what your doing.



Busy on the computer paying your bills or writing an email?

Never fear!

Your feline friend will choose that very moment to want your undivided attention!

She will run repeatedly across your keyboard.... She will plop her body down on your hands and meow, demanding your full attention.... She will bite your pinky finger in an attempt to pull your hands away from what they are doing to pay attention to her.....

And, it will usually work.

Cause, even as I'm typing this now, I've got my crazy kitty dangling from my shoulder, purring in my ear.

So, yes, I can see that attraction. For the lonely, this is an amazing thing....

For me, I'd just like to be able to use the shower without this happening every morning....

He also was a Legal Breeder, where we lived in Kansas. I had him for 22 yrs. before he developed several health issues and I had him Put-Down .
Oh wow, that's a unique cat! I'll bet he was pretty... I can't believe he lived 22 years!

Wow, 16! My ex was a dog person and we ended up having dogs for many years.... I can't remember a time when we didn't have a dog, actually. I was a little worried at first, bringing home the kitty, because it had been so long, but she's fallen right into the fold.

My kitty is still young, I got her last summer as a kitten. I grew up with cats, I had one for many years when I was young. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got Tilly.

You're right! They do just barge into the bathroom! I have to close the door tight when I'm using the bathroom otherwise she'll come prancing in and try to climb into my pants while I'm 'preoccupied'.

It's been many, many years since I've had a kitty. My ex husband wasn't a cat person... This kitty was meant to be with us, I swear. If she were a person, she'd be my Spawn Jr. I think it depends on how a cat is treated whether they are aloof or not. Tilly is definitely not aloof and doesn't like it when she isn't included. That last pic in my post is an action shot of her running into the bathroom the moment I opened the door after I took my shower this morning. She meowed twice and sat on my foot.

 My Tilly loves to be around people, always wants to be part of the action. That picture of her paw from beneath the door?? She does that ALL the time when you have the door shut and she's on the other side. If I would have waited long enough this morning, I would have gotten a picture of both paws.

This cat will sit on the edge of the bathtub between the shower curtain liner and the shower curtain and poke it with it's paw. It was cute at first... Now it's feeling a little creepy...
