Nature Walks with Secret_Lade
I've been driving past this place for the past three weeks, thinking myself, I need that out.



So, today I did.

No loons.... Just this.



Yikes!

On the plus side, I did get a nice walk in, on a beautiful day, at a pretty lake.

 I wonder if you thought it was a throw back to your Doric roots - Loons are boys in north east scotland.

Peiceful to get away by yourself.
That why I love to go out hunting.

 It was peaceful... And sunny and beautiful. I think I might just go back to sit on a bench and enjoy the view.

 I'm not sure how long this place has been here.... There were two benches that had dedications on them from 2002, so it's been at least a little while. I would think that there were nesting loons there at some point.... I'm curious to check it out in the spring/summer.

 Most of the snakes in Northern Michigan are harmless too, thank God. I'm not a real big snake fan.

Maybe they migrate? I should look it up. It's not usually 75 degrees around here in the middle of October, all this nice weather is tricking the mind.
