If you wish in one hand and shit in the other, which will fill up first?

I wish I had a dog again. Where I live now I cannot have a pet at all. My neighbors are allowed to have two dogs and we have the same landlord. Their dogs are tied out most of the day, bark a lot, shit on my side of the yard. Oh and did I mention that it smells like urine all the time in my kitchen because of these two dogs?

At first I thought that smell was actually something in my kitchen. I scrubbed everything and couldn't get rid of the smell. But when I went out the back door, I realized it is from these dogs.

I just moved here and cannot afford to move again.

Update: I was just out back and there is literally dozens of piles of dog shit on their side and my side. There is a hole under my steps where they have been digging. I contacted the property manager and she said that the owner hired a new property manager and she would pass the message along. WTF

Throw some moth balls out by the dividing line.

I'm not personally willing to put that question to the test, but there are many who would! LOL

I miss my dog too and am in a no pets location. I'm considering moving again to a place that will allow me a dog again, but only if there's enough space and a park or fun place to walk nearby. Your neighbors sound like shitty neighbors at the very least. I was there once but with a more responsible next door neighbor who would come over and clean up after his 3 dogs most of the time. It still sucked.

I really hope they move out or something changes...sorry to hear you are in that uncomfortable a situation. And I hope the rest of your place is a better situation!! There are some things I dislike about where I moved, it's a drive to some places, but there are benefits too. Hopefully for you too!

Could you put out a deterrent on the grounds near your back door and windows? I haven't googled ideas, but I know there are some things that dogs avoid. I think red pepper flakes was for keeping cats out of flower beds and gardens...

If these people really cared about these dogs, they wouldn't have them tied out all the time.
