I've had it with IM on this site. I don't like texting in the first place because I do not like having to have a conversation with my thumb or having to respond immediately (short attention span). However, now the new app that I did not ask for on my phone has gotten so bad that it eats the messages before I can even click on the profile of the sender to see if I am interested in responding.

I have standard contacts so using IM is not necessary.

 The IM has always sucked on this site...You would think they would get it right at some point.

@dooby911 Not surprised, so may parts of the UI on this site are just terrible, to make it worse, the servers are slow like dial up slow! Maybe they just throttle back on unpaid users...
