how often do you contact your special sex friend?

Lets say you meet someone you like a lot in here, you both guys know you cannot be exclusive for each other, but even with that you both have an amazing time together, and you do whatever is necessary to make each other happy and cared for. now you are back to your own self and your normal life, how often should you chat, text, interact with each other? would you expect a daily contact? weekly? monthly? every 6 months? what is adequate, what is not adequate ?

 awesome, we are on the same boat, if there is chemistry is right, a phone call or seen each other once a month or twice that would be awesome. I dont want to feel like I am the one always searching, I want to feel like I am desired the same way that I want my partner to feel desired.. keep each other edgy for each other. Been able to talk in an out of the bedroom, not just sex, I agree. if the chemistry is really strong send a text ...
