Be warned, some people here are very negative types, but just ignore them. If they persist, you can always block them! Most here are really great people, and will help you be more comfortable..... The biggest fear is that of the unknown. Getting past the initial shyness brings rewards beyond expectation. Congrats to you for being bold.

being shy is not a bad thing .... It can be a real plus people have to reach out and get to know you and that makes for more conversation and understanding ... and if you are getting to know potential partners I think I would enjoy getting to know a shy person .... your pictures show a real confidence in yourself and that is such a plus .
