I knew the Bride when........! Alex and Susan had been together for years and were very much in love ..They went everywhere together , did a lot of travelling and had tons of fun and spent quiet evenings together when or the other was not working. .Both had very lucrative jobs and lived a very good life.. When Alex popped the question to Susan about getting married she jumped at the idea , Alex gave her a beautiful engagement ring and they sealed the deal with a kiss and a very long night of passion. .Susan said she was the happiest woman ever and vowed to make Alex a good wife ..They both wanted a couple off so life was good .They made plans to set a wedding date after they both told their parents and friends of the decision they made...Everyone was so overjoyed , finally things were going as planned for both ..Everyone said they made the perfect couple .Both their parents were beside themselves with happiness.. Susan liked to hang out as well with her friends and her social circle was very broad based, she got together with them when Alex had to work sometimes late into the night. Susan made herself busy planning her wedding along with her friends and they all had some ideas that would go along with Susan's plans ..They all offered help in one way or another ..Her very best friend wanted to throw Susan a bachelorette party the night before the wedding Susan agreed. and told Alex that she wanted a traditional no seeing the bride the day before the wedding he also agreed it was a good idea The girls met at a local nightclub had many drinks and a lot of fun .Susan said she was getting knots in her stomach at the thought of this being her last night as an unmarried woman but shrugged it off to jitters. .When things wound down and everyone went their perspective ways , Susan and her friends hailed a taxi and went off to a hotel room ..While in the taxi Susan's phone beeped and she opened the messaging , and started to read the texts . Susan sat in shock as she began reading what was to be a life changing event ..Her friends were alarmed at the tears streaming down her face.....the last read " would you marry him ?" Susan put her phone away wiped her eyes and told the girls that it was Alex professing his love for her and telling her how much he wanted to be with her but he knew it wasn't possible ..The evening went on as nothing had happened, underneath Susan was seething.. The day of the wedding came and as usual Susan went on as any normal bride would she had slept on a few things after the messages she received and finally came up with a plan. .Both her and Alex wrote their own vows and hers would be a doozy ..she could hardly contain her loathing for Alex but calmly went about her preparations ..got dressed in the new gown Alex bought for her tidied up her self and went to the church with her bridesmaid's , took a deep breath before she went in to meet her Dad ..She almost cried when she seen her parents and the people lining the church pews and felt so bad almost lost her nerve as to the plan she formed .. Walking down the aisle with Dad and seeing Alex beaming and telling her how beautiful she looked ,Susan's stomach turned over..Standing before the minister Alex started and he said his vows while Susan stood and smiled gritting her teeth. .waited till Alex finished ..pulled out her phone turned away from Alex and said, " There will be no wedding today ." Then she proceeded to read the messages from the woman who sent them, apparently Alex and her were having an affair for the last year , the woman had very explicit pictures and accounting for every time Alex and Susan were not together...the last thing Susan did was apologize to the guests and told them , " if anyone wants to see this pics and all I will lay the phone here on the table so all can see what a worm looks like." then she walked out .As soon as she started to read the texts Alex slipped out the rectory's back door.. |

Thanks I had it started weeks ago my neice asked me to her wedding in july and when I remembered the first marriage I had and almost the same thing happened to me I was nieve and stupid but found out he was seeing someone else for awhile..not sleeping with..lol..she old me that ! the bitch ! ..anyway I wish I was there now I would have done that same thing..

Wow - it's even worse when you find out your husband of almost 30 years, has"friends" on adult dating sites, and even sends them money and talks about everything we have together as a brag of what HE has. Also states he does not have a "partner" and would prefer not to list his relationship status. Oh, and also what we have, most I had before him and always made at least twice the money he did per year.
