How many times have you been stood up?
How many times since you have been a member have you invited people to meet and end up getting stood up , no contact, no show.

Please dont include the times that they were courteous enough to text or message prior to your agreed meet time.

so many I lost count because no one does what they say anymore

 I thought long and hard before I clicked on zero, but I really believe that I have never been stood up for a first or second "date" with another passion member. I few random thoughts about this topic:

1. I think I have not had this problem because I have enough communication beforehand so I've developed a good, solid feeling about the person I'm planning to meet. (And BTW, the build-up that happens during the preliminary communications can lead to an explosive first in-person encounter!)

2. I was on Match.com for several years (2001 to 2010), and I got stood up A LOT--include a couple cases in which I know the person was present, but checked me out and then decided they would check out themselves.

3. My passion "stand-ups" have actually been by women (and one couple) that I had met with multiple times and suddenly just ghosted me. (I think in at least two cases with women, they were in other relationships and their partners were on to them.)

Still sorry to hear about the disappointments and frustrations that others have experienced.

 Sadly too many cheaters and liars here. Then the ones who show and do not look like their pics, are a lot heavier then pic and older then they claimed. This site could be great if more were honest.

 happens many times, when my wife and I were here, we would put in our profile we understand when things unexpectedly come up just call, but if no call no show then that's it

 I can't even it seems get to the point where a woman is willing and able to meet, getting stood up as shitty as it would be would be progress
