The Mall... . The MILF... . And A Song... . 🎵

Over 2 billion people on planet Earth celebrate Christmas. However - over 5.7 billion don't. Ever wonder what you can do if you DON'T celebrate Christmas? FrankeeZee and I decided to do some research into the question.

Yesterday, we went to the mall... again. Actually, FrankeeZee was doing the research - I was just along for the ride. If you'll recall, FrankeeZee is my blogger buddy, from that other sex site,
™FOGCAF. On this occasion, even as we sat not far, from the 'real ' Santa Claus (amongst the MILF's and their kids) - FrankeeZee's head, was buried in his laptop... as he typed.

"Paul... what's another word for 'explain'?" He paused and looked at me... "OK, ok. . . never mind - it's elucidate ... "

I sat there eating my mint, chocolate chip ice cream, watching the shoppers go by, listening to Paul McCartney singing, 'Wonderful Christmas' - for the one hundredth time... so far this week.

"Paul... what's another word for 'shrewd', or 'astute'?" He looked at me and waited. "Oh yeah... got it - the word is perspicacious, " and he leaned his head, once again, into his laptop.

Mariah Carey began singing - 'O Holy Night' . I licked my cone.

"Paul... what's another word for - 'confuse'? Or... you know , when you 'obscure' the meaning of something?" Dead silence, was my response. "Ughh... oh... the word is - obfuscate. You know - you're no fucking help at all Paul. Don't you fucking read? Or do you just read your own fucking blog? You should read a fucking book, once in a while. It would improve your fucking vocabulary."

"Hey Frankee... you think any of your blog readers are going to understand any of those words you're using in your blog? I mean, seriously... they're there for sex, not for a vocabulary lesson.

FrankeeZee stopped typing and raised his head.

"Are you kidding me Paul? Some of the most educated and intelligent people on the planet, frequent sex sites. It's a fact ! CNN or somebody, did a report on it last year. You'd be surprised. All these intelligent people are looking to get laid... but when it comes to blogs - they want someone to stimulate their minds, as well."

I looked at him and blinked.

"Hey Paul... what's another word for 'idiot'... ?"

"I'm sitting next to one," I replied. But FrankeeZee was not deterred and typed away.

"The word was cretin... Paul. The rough draft is done. Now... all I need to do, is to edit," and he closed his laptop.

"So... What conclusions did you come up with Frankee? What do people who don't celebrate Christmas, do on Christmas day ?"

"Oh... fuck that. I don't know. I guess they go to Chinese restaurants, or they go to the movies or they sit at home masturbating and watching NetFlix. That was a boring topic. I changed my blog theme to, Sex With Your Neighbours - The True Holiday Spirit."

"And you used all those words in your blog? I'd like to read your blog Frankee," I looked at him and blinked again. Bruce Springsteen was singing 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'. I shivered... and closed my eyes.

"You know Paul... If you didn't spend so much time watching television and wasting your life on that sex site of yours, and more time reading - you'd be a more interesting person and maybe... you'd even get laid?"

I had finished my ice cream. Justin Bieber was singing - 'Mistletoe'... I'd had enough. It was time to leave. I rose from the bench.

"Frankee ... let's go. I've had enough of this place."

And then... just as suddenly... I decided to stay. They had just started to play - Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas'. Ahhh... This is what Christmas music is all about. This, is what the Christmas spirit, is all about, " I thought to myself.

At that moment, FrankeeZee poked me in the ribs. "Paul... take a look at that MILF over there. Is she hot, or what ? Would you do her?"

.............................................
So...
What are your LEAST, or MOST favorite - Christmas songs ?
Did you learn any new words here today, or did you already know them, from reading or watching TV?

All three songs in this blog, grate on my nerves. I don't really hate, Christmas songs, it's just that I find that they play the same songs over and over again on the radio stations here, until I get sick of them. I will admit that although I like Paul McCartney, his Christmas song grates on my nerves.... I really like the old Christmas songs from back in the day. Bing Crosby for sure.

Yes I learned new words. I'd never heard of the word perspicacious before. I have to admit, that I used to read more books in the past. Now, most of my reading is online internet articles. My TV watching is reserved for nature shows, and movies . . and that show Mayday. It's all about plane crashes. Anyone else watch that one ?

I've often wished that radio stations would have a Christmas Carol version contest.....instead of playing one version (Springsteen's Santa Claus is coming to Town ..... shudder) follow it with someone else's version and let listeners vote.

I collected several off beat songs and make a CD for friends called Christmas on Mars and other songs you won't hear on the radio.

and Yes, I knew all those words.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I'm going to throw something at this fucking site. Just noticed that they replaced every word on my post with the letter 'o' in it with another letter. And all words starting with 'a' were replaced with the letter 't'. So many fuck ups on this site . . . .

I never heard of that one before either ...lol
I was wondering about his point of view. I mean, it would be nice to learn a new or two once in a while. But perhaps you're right - not here , right ?
WOW ! Joy to The World ??? I never would have guessed that song. I would have guessed that it would have been your favorite song !!!
Thanks for popping in. I will miss these coffee breaks with you!

You can't sleep either at night? Hmmm... Glad to bring you a smile.
You are lucky that you DON'T listen to the radio . . OMG it is getting worse and worse as the DAY approaches. After all .... how many times can they play the good ones - White Christmas is almost never played until Christmas eve.
Oh well... I should close the radio. Good tip... How can I drive in the car without a radio ??? What do I do? lol

Yes. . . That is a great idea... Probably not going to happen. Yeah... when Bruce's song comes on- I'm scrambling for that radio dial. There are others though.
So you knew what 'perspicacious' meant ? Oooooo .... you're good ! I guess you are a vociferous reader and carry a dictionary in your pocket. Happy Thursday !

I'm glad you learned something. So did I ... lol Maybe I should do more blogs - where I throw in a new word each time. Good idea !
True though... they start playing those Christmas songs sooo early that by the time Xmas rolls around - I'm kinda sick of them. Perhaps it's just me? Oh well ... Have a great day !

Yes ... Damn ... 60 days is a lot... I'm in my car a lot, and some of the radio stations start right around Nov. 1
Little Drummer Boy and O Holy, on the good list or the bad one ? lol I'm asking , because that Drummer Boy one is on my 'bad list' . . . lol Hey, I would love it if I could find a radio station that plays the 'classics'. My car doesn't have a satellite option. Have a jolly Thursday

I developed a love for words and the English language at a very young age and became a crossword puzzle and the 'word power' quiz in Reader's Digest junkie. I also read voraciously and continue to check-out 10-12 books with each trip to the library. So yes....I was familiar with the 'new' words in your story.
Christmas songs like 'Merry Christmas Darling", 'I'll Be Home for Christmas' and 'White Christmas' are amongst my favourites. However the one that 'gets' to me each and every time is 'O Holy Night' sung by a tenor in church. Tears are shed unashamedly.

Really . . . ? Word Power in Reader's Digest . . . Hmmm... I missed that one. 10 to 12 books with each trip? WOW ! Ever thought of doing some professional writing or editing ? Sounds like you might be equipped ... ( you and Poco..).
Well those songs are classics... and of course O Holy night IS a classic.
Thanks for dropping by... Perhaps I should send you my blogs before I post them, so that there are no mistakes ? Have a great day !

Oh, it's so hard to choose, I hate so many of them. I was in Walmart yesterday for a couple of hours and just listening to them put me in a bad mood. There was a lady there shopping in her full length robe wearing house slippers. I wanted to slap the shit out of her for being so lazy she couldn't even get dressed before coming out in public.

True... There are so many bad ones to choose from. You're stuck when you're in a public place ! At least when I'm in the car, I have choices.
They'd never try the house slippers thing over here - they'd freeze to death... lol .
Have a good one !

"Mary Did You Know"... is certainly a good one. They don't play that one on the station that I listen to.
Yep... Nice one !!!!!!!! Really haunting and beautiful tune ! Thanks for reminding me about that one. "Pentatonix" also did a beautiful version of it - in 2014 ...
That is really ... a beautiful song !

Well it's Humperdinck and it's the 90's... but it's a good song. The lyrics are captivating - right ?
"So come into my arms, and lay down by my side. ...
The memory of your touch, remains when you're not there."

Yes... it is a beautiful song. See ?. . . No sarcasm . . .
(I'm still thinking and playing ... Mary Did You Know...)

I would have to say my favorite Christmas Song is Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You. And my least favorite is, Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer.

No I didn't learn any new words as I have been a very busy ELF this season so far. And as for celebrating Christmas it's been years for me..I hope you have a great day..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Interesting song choices... I'll re-listen to them, for sure. So many people here with great vocabularies... I guess I should pick up a book or two.
Have a great day as well.... 🎅😊😁
